WHEELCHAIR SPORTS CAMP

Special Care’s Ivan Lendl Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp is a program of HSC Community Services. This camp is offered free-of-charge to children ages 7 to 18 living with physical disabilities.

Instruction in sports such as tennis, basketball and track and field, is offered by skilled disabled athletes. Days are filled with fun activities in a great setting.

Camper Qualifications:

• Between the ages of 7 and 18

• Desire to participate in sports

• Good use of upper extremities

• Independent bathroom skills

• Independent feeding skills

• Successful completion of new camper evaluation process

• Campers must provide their own wheelchair

The Camp Provides:

• Sports instruction by skilled disabled athletes

• Sports equipment

• Lunch and snacks

• A place to have fun and make new friends

• Arts & crafts, swimming and more!
