The Sound of Music - 2004 Better Day Music Fest

6/11/2004 12:00:00 AM

On April 8th, 2004 at Murphy and Scarletti’s in Farmington, CT the 4th annual Better Day music festival roared into success. This year’s event raised over $8,000 to fund the NSCIA – CT Chapter’s many programs, peer assistance, stop trauma and support groups to name a few.

The Fabels, Lumpfish and The F.O.B.E.S rocked the night away with various cover songs and The GREAT staff at Murphy and Scarletti’s provided a full buffet to satisfy everyone’s appetite.

The music festivals success depended NSCIA CT Pres. Bill Mancini & friends at the 2004 Music Festnot only on the many guests that attended, but also on the many sponsors, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank them.

Thank you to all the committee members from the Association included Jennifer Bartiss-Earley, Caitlin DePalma, Tracie Stanton and Rebecca Stoddard.

Major sponsors included Bristol Federation of teachers, Maxim Mobility LLC, Hudson Home Health Care, CT Rehab, Obie Harrington Foundation and Home Care Carpentry.

A Special THANKS goes out to the entire staff at Murphy and Scarletti’s for making this entire event possible as well as Susan Leighton at the New Haven Advocate who help with the advertising for the event.

Many thanks to all for the continued support!
